Might be able to sort out a question that has been bothering me for years. How do you spell “oos”? You know, the stuff you get in your belly button or under the couch
Or is it “ous” or “oose”?
And what’s its derivation?

Snecked

The Scots spelling is oos meaning fluff

oosie means fluffy, fuzzy or furry
